This Merlot based wine showcases the three vineyards that comprise the blend. Merlot is the foundation for the blend with cherry and black olive aromas, silky tannins, leading to a long finish. The two Cabernets Sauvignons add structure and classic Cabernet aromas of black current and licorice. The Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot add complexity and further delineate the terroir of these wonderful vineyards. A Bordeaux style blend of 60% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon from two vineyards, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. All of the grapes come from our small vineyards in the Napa Valley. This wine was created for the 2007 Napa Valley Premier Event.
