2005 Ahnfeldt Napa Valley Syrah

The 2005 Ahnfeldt Napa Valley Syrah is dark, deep purple, and very dense in appearance.  There is a fascinating bouquet of black cherry, black pepper, oak, vanilla, hickory smoke, and a hint of fresh walnut kernels.

This fine Syrah is intensely varietal, with fine grain tannins integrated in a creamy texture.  The evolution is smooth, rich, with an elegant finish that echoes on the palette.

Our 2005 Syrah is a blend of Syrah from the Napa Carneros Region and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Kreuse Canyon Vineyard. The total case production was 77 cases.
